platforms were commercialized in the early 2000s, we have been
working with our customers to support mission critical applications
in human healthcare and agrigenomics. By providing innovative,
high-quality components such as enzymes, oligonucleotides and
magnetic beads as well as specialist kits and services, we enable
our customers to harness the power of genetic data on an
unprecedented scale. Our kit and component manufacturing sites are
situated across the US (Middleton and Petaluma) and Europe (Berlin
and Lystrup) and are underpinned by either ISO 13485 or ISO 9001
compliance. These capabilities support a wide portfolio of
off-the-shelf components and kits critical to NGS workflows
including magnetic beads, oligos, enzymes, and library prep kits.
Additionally, our primary manufacturing capabilities enable
customization and bulk (OEM) manufacture of reagents such as key
NGS enzymes for high volume applications. Job Description Job
Description The Oligo Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for
supporting Molecular Biology Conversion manufacturing in an ISO
9001 (Custom RUO) and/or ISO 13485 (DxGMP) regulated environment.
This position performs production procedures in compliance with
current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) (ISO 13485), Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory standards.
The technician will work closely with cross-functional teams to
deliver high-quality oligonucleotide products for research or
diagnostic applications. Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4 x 10
hours, 13:00-23:30 \n Conscientiously learn requirements of the ISO
9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality management system and diligently
follow the Quality Policy, which describes the relevance and
importance of the employee's work to the achievement of LGC's
quality objectives. \n Perform oligonucleotide manufacturing
activities in accordance with written protocols and under the
direction of departmental leadership. \n Maintain accurate and
complete batch records, equipment logs, and other production
documentation in compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
and company procedures. Perform basic laboratory tasks and
analytical measurements using various instruments to support
product quality. \n Assist with and/or perform basic
troubleshooting, routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory
equipment and instruments, documenting and reporting results.
Initiate support tickets as needed. \n Maintain a clean, safe, and
organized laboratory environment, PPE (Personal Protection
Equipment) policies, and where applicable, adhering to cGMP and ISO
13485; Report safety hazards or incidents to supervisors or
designated safety personnel. \n Ensure proper labeling and storage
of buffers and reagents in accordance with Environmental, Health
and Safety (EHS) policy, and dispose of laboratory debris and
hazardous waste in compliance with EHS guidelines. \n Participate
in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement
initiatives. \n Collaborate with team members and support groups to
ensure timely and compliant production, report/escalate any delays
or deviations with team supervisors. \n Support inventory
management by stocking consumables and communicating shortages or
out-of-stock items. \n Maintain up-to-date training while actively
engaging in learning and development opportunities. \n Adhere to
scheduled work hours with flexibility for overtime as required and
approved. \n \n Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: \n
Bachelor's degree in a related field or 1 year of equivalent
industry experience and/or demonstration of ability to meet the
requirements of an Oligo Manufacturing Technician I. \n Proficiency
in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based
applications. \n \n Preferred Qualifications: \n Experience or
familiarity working in a laboratory and cGMP regulated environment
\n Experience or familiarity with laboratory equipment such as
HPLC, mass spectrometry (MS), IR, SpectraMax, SpeedVacs, liquid
handlers, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems, and pipettes \n
Familiarity with laboratory software platforms such as Unicorn,
Empower, LabSolutions, Chromeleon, MassLynx, Softmax Pro, Evoware
and Filemaker Pro. \n \n Competencies and Behaviors: \n

pay range for this role is: Minimum: $ 20.910/ Hourly Maximum: $
34.855/ Hourly This range represents the low and high end of the
anticipated salary range for the California -based position. The
actual base salary will depend on several factors such as:
