Job Description:
Job DescriptionOur client is looking to hire a Marketing and
Employee Engagement Coordinator to help assist the company with
branding, marketing, recruitment, and communication of internal
initiatives. They are interested in bringing this position in house
(previously outsourced) so the individual can observe the work,
culture, and personnel on a day-to-day basis. Location: Between
Petaluma and Richmond California Tasks associated with the position
will be: Branding/Market
- Website Management
- Update news feed
- Timeline
- Personnel
- Project Portfolios
- Social Media Management
- Post project pictures
- Improve following
- Encourage engagement
- Project Portfolios
- Work with Project Managers and executives to record project
stats, accomplishments, and milestones for future marketing and job
proposals - photograph project progression Recruitment
- Job/Career Fairs
- Coordinate and arrange career fair booths
- Create marketing material to attract new talent
- Resumes and Interviews
- Assist Human Resource in targeting candidates for job
openings
- Assist Human Resources in arranging interviews
- Assist Human Resources in organizing and storing resumes
Internal Company Communications
- Safety Initiatives
- Work with Safety Manager to help drive safety initiatives
through internal communications, crew recognition, and incentive
programs
- Association Events
- Help get participation in Contractor Association events through
communications
- Coordinate events with employees and facilitate their
participation
- Training
- Communicate to employees training opportunities through
associations, company sponsored events, and career development
classes
- Charity Events
- Communicate and promote company charity eventsJob Requirements:
Position will report to operations manager in which you will work
together to set short and long-term objectives. After goals have
been set you should be able to perform job tasks with little to no
oversight and be self-starting/motivated The job will require high
interaction with construction crews, management, recruits, and
potential clients. Bachelors Degree, or currently working towards
attaining Bachelor's Degree in communications/marketing Prior
experience working in marketing or communications and/or a support
role in either the marketing or communications highly desired Prior
work history required - either working full time and/or working
while attending collegeHigh level Organizational Skills **Hybrid
work model with days in office, on site and work from home
providedHours can vary depending on candidates desired hours per
week - minimum of 25 hrs per week will be required.Exceptional
