Summary
The Associate Product Marketing Manager position contributes to
brand and business success by being responsible for execution of
key brand activities that drive brand performance in line with
Amy's sales and strategic goals. This role takes ownership and
leads brand activities end-to-end as an advocate for the
consumer.
Associate Product - Marketing Managers are responsible for three
core activities including 1) performing analysis and working with
the Senior Product Marketing Manager to develop a three- year
business plan which is tied to the company's OGSM (objectives,
goals, strategies and measures), 2) Involved with manager in the
marketing activities including the four Ps; product, price,
promotion, place and the three Cs; company, customers and
competitors, and 3) works closely with marcom team members on
category portfolio communication objectives and priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
- Participate in product general management for US portfolio
including three-year sales and growth plans, and input to Profit &
Loss.
- Collaborate on researching the current state of product
penetration, market insights, and trends and developing materials
to portray these stories. Works with Department leader to create a
portfolio vision and marketing objectives. This person is
responsible for driving activities that impact the financial
(growth and margin) for assigned products in the US.
- Support the manager to develop integrated growth plan
recommendations for respective categories including three-year
product road maps, portfolio assortments (new items adds, existing
item improvements, discontinuations), and pricing; must be able to
synthesis data and insights from multiple sources and translate
into implication for business
- Work with partners in Marketing to communicate portfolio
communication objective, the marketing communication strategy, and
channel strategy.
- Support manager to lead the four Ps; product, price, promotion,
place and the three Cs; company, customers, and
competitors
- Work closely across functions including Sales, Marketing
Communications, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sourcing and Quality and
shepherd projects end-to end i.e., pre-funnel to post launch
evaluation.
- Partner with Sales Insights & Analytics team for assigned
portfolio(s): including competitive activity; post- launch results,
and P & L inputs. Analyzes data from multiple sources and
participates in creating forecasting assumptions.
- Assist in problem solution development including new product
ideas positioning/concept development/claims, variety line up,
naming, pricing, and

Qualifications and Skills
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and
education and a minimum of 2 years of marketing, new products, and
project management experience
- CPG or natural food experience preferred
- Strong MS Word, Excel skills required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex
- Ability to plan and lead large cross-functional meetings, drive
to consensus/conclusion, assign tasks, summarize succinctly, and
communicate results in written and verbal
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries
or
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively at all
levels of the
- Position requires management by influence, without the benefit
of functional hierarchy.

California Compensation Range: $85,600 - $128,400
