• External: External applicants will be considered on the sixth (6) business day of the posting period.Position InformationTitle: Visiting Clinical Professor, Audiology (Temporary Employee Pool)Department: AudiologyPosting Number: F00844Full or Part Time: Part TimeOpen Date: 12/22/2023Close Date: Open Until FilledPosition DescriptionThe School of Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position as a Course Instructor/Clinical supervisor in the Department of Audiology.Responsibilities include:

• Provide instruction for a total of three to twenty (3-20) hours per week (depending on your course/contract).
• Supervision of two (2) student clinicians per hour, occasionally supervising three (3) student clinicians per hour.
• Provide each student clinician with a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) direct supervision or more to meet their needs.
• Complete semester supervision log to document supervision time for accreditation requirements by the last day of the semester.
• Provide written feedback towards clinical reports and observational assignments.Clinical appointments are made upon the recommendation of the department faculty where appropriate to an academic program. The clinical appointment is non-tenure track.All non-tenure-track faculty members collaborate in fulfilling the University's mission to provide a superior, student-centered learning experience integrating liberal arts and professional education.Minimum Qualifications:
  • An AuD or Ph.D. degree with relevant background to the course being taught.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a professional environment working with clinical populations.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written modalities.
    • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
    • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
