DESCRIPTION This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt, position that
reports to the Director of Education. You are an Speech Clinical
Fellow who will provide evaluation and treatment of students in
accordance with approved policies, procedures, and protocols. Under
the supervision of an SLP, you will learn to plan, implement, and
coordinate comprehensive therapy. Your caseload will range between
approximately 10-20 students. You thrive on finding creative
options to enhance student learning. RESPONSIBILITIES Ongoing
assessment of designated students speech and language needs Writing
individual speech and language goals and objectives Planning and
implementation of necessary speech therapy Collaborate and
coordinate with all team members and attend parent conferences
Carry out behavioral interventions with children and/or
adolescents, which could include visually/auditorily monitoring
clients, evading or containing physical aggression, lifting, and
pursuing clients who might be running away Facilitate open
communication, the team process within the Agency, and a positive
attitude toward program function and general Agency goals Drive
students to/from community outings QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors or
Masters degree in Speech Pathology or related field, California RPE
license/CCC or eligibility Competencies in the following: PART
techniques (annual PART certification is a requirement for this
classification) Working knowledge of the principles of applied
behavioral analysis Working knowledge of skill and communication
training materials Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability
to think and act autonomously in a variety of situations. CA
Driver's License and Auto Insurance as this position may drive as
an essential function Clean California DMV record required Ability
to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen Ability to pass DOJ
fingerprint background check TB Clearance PAY RANGE The pay range
for this position is $32.14 to $35.65 per hour. The pay offered to
a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as,
but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position,
the qualifications of the selected candidate, internal equity, and
the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This range represents base
salary only and one aspect of the total rewards package. Specifics
