Job Description:
Summary: The Marketing Content Manager is responsible for
leading the coordination, production, distribution, and analytics
of marketing content. The mission of the Intelisys Marketing
Communications function is to develop content that engages with
targeted audiences, in the channels where the intended audience
lives and understand how to interpret how that content is
performing for the benefit of continuous improvement. This position
is responsible for bringing marketing content to life, coordinating
with Marketing Operations to distribute content through strategic
communication channels and interpreting content analytics to
understand how that content is performing and adjust accordingly.
The Marketing Content Manager will work with various team members
to develop marketing and communications content designed to engage
stakeholder communities.Essential Job Duties: Communications Create
and refine content assets intended to support the success of
marketing campaigns as needed. Manage the marketing content
production calendar. Fulfill content creation assignments.
Continuously audit organizational assets (i.e. educational
presentations, etc.) and identify to opportunities to utilize these
assets for original content. Serve as the editorial leader for
email newsletters and digital marketing campaigns as needed. Brand
Consult with various stakeholders across the enterprise and lead
discovery meetings that will support the development of content
assets. Lead the development of content that supports the business,
including promotions, advertisements, sponsorships, direct mail,
website, digital/print newsletters, and various other marketing
projects. Ensure content is strategic, mistake-free, in the
approved CVI, on deadline. Curate information to inform content.
Demonstrate ability to extract pertinent information from detailed
conversations. Interview internal experts and incorporate views in
content assets. Provide recommendations for content assets based on
industry and technology trends. Research industry-related topics.
Monitor industry trends and make recommendations on content pieces.
Assist with keeping collateral and website up to date. Engagement
Capture KPI metrics; provide counsel and guidance based on the
interpretation of the metrics. Analyze, understand, and provide
recommendations for optimizing the engagement level of content
assets; inclusive of campaign refinements within the marketing
automation platform Manage the development of multiple content
projects simultaneously. Monitor, capture, and report KPIs on a
regular cadence. Other duties as assigned Reporting Relationships:
Direct supervision from Director of Marketing Comms / Brand
Communications & Engagement Frequent interaction with additional
Managers, Directors, and VP's Occasional interaction with Intelisys
and ScanSource executives Requirements: Proficient computer skills
including project management software, Adobe Creative Suite, social
media management tools, and marketing automation platforms College
education with a degree in Public Relations, Social Media,
Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Marketing 5-7+ years ad
agency or marketing communications company or department experience
Preferred: Telecom channel experience Experience with marketing
technology (marketing automation, Salesforce, attribution modeling,
etc.) a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand at a
computer terminal for long periods of time. Ability to work in a
hybrid environment, combining remote and in-office attendance
designated for this position. Ability to travel up to 10% of the
