Job Description:


The Contract Managers play a critical role for the organization as they manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, including responsibility for reviewing, evaluating, processing, summarizing, record keeping and monitoring company contracts. Serving as the legal liaison between company departments, Sales Partners and Supplier Partners, the Contract Manager will provide contract knowledge, support, and guidance.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Contract Management
    • Evaluate, summarize, and process various incoming amendments, addenda, base transfers and contracts for Suppliers and Sales Partners
      • Supplier Contracts:
        • Review and summarize all amendments and addenda
        • Manage contract renewals and terms to renegotiate
        • Sales Partner contracts:
          • Create complex amendments and custom addenda
          • Base transfers
          • Research and review contract terms to answer questions and assist in Supplier escalations
          • Research Supplier contracts and provide guidance on commission escalations
          • Commission Schedule Management
            • Review Supplier contracts and create associated commission schedules, and provide critical Supplier specific obligations and risks
            • Manage updates to existing commission schedules
            • Process Management
              • Track and manage in RPM contract obligations, training and certification requirements, quotas, commission increases and decreases and renewals and alert team members to various needs
              • Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
              • Accurately and completely utilize appropriate RPM processes for all contract related tasks
              • Other duties as assigned

                Reporting Relationships:

                • Directly supervised by Sr. Director, Contracts & Programs
                • Key Working Relationships: Sales Team, Supplier Services, Executives, Sales Partners, and Supplier Partners.


                  • Ability to review, understand, modify, negotiate, and summarize in "plain English" telecommunication agreements, service agreements, related addenda, and commission schedules.
                  • Bachelor's degree in a business or communications related program.
                  • 5+ years of relevant experience, or paralegal certificate and 2+ years relevant experience.
                  • A good team player who thrives when operating cross-functionally on a multidimensional team.
                  • Superior reading, writing and language skills with the ability to present to all levels of management as well as Suppliers and Sales Partners.
                  • Superior proficiency in computer usage, the Internet, the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Must have the ability to learn industry specific software programs.
                  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information.
                  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications.
                  • Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision.
                  • Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities.
                  • Possesses superior organizational and time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
                  • Self-directed and action oriented.


                    • The ideal candidate has alternate channel experience and a proficient understanding of telecommunications and associated channel practices.
                    • Experience using RPM to track processes is desired.

                      Physical Requirements:

                      • Ability to sit or stand at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
                      • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and in-office attendance designated for this position.
                      • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
                      • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
