About the opportunity--- The Regulatory Affairs Manager enables New Product Development (NPD) delivery and global rollouts by providing advice to R&D and other cross-functional teams on acceptability of required documentation (claims substantiations, PIFs, clinical trials, etc.) to ensure they are compliant to local and international markets. In addition, the Regulatory Affair Manager is responsible for preparing submissions to regulatory authorities as required in different countries to ensure market compliance throughout the product life cycle. The role serves as a primary support for regulatory support to consumer's and authority queries. This person is a Subject Matter Expert to provide product regulatory advice to support business needs. What is your day-to-day like? NPD Validate the claims and technical documents for concept development Conduct ingredient and claim reviews of product formulations for NPDs Review product labelling for global compliance Collect and review, develop, and maintain Product Information File as per global requirement Prepare the claim substantiation for NPDs based on scientific data and product compliance for local and international markets Liaise with R&D/PD, Marketing, Quality and Consumer Care to support regulatory questions as well as educational materials Post Market Supports the review of promotional materials for regulatory compliance Prepares product registration or notification dossiers for various country registrations Notify the products in authority portal Supports certification and audits Leaping Bunny / EWG / Vegan / Natural etc. Provide regulatory support to customer service team as well as local market inquiry Continuous support for market license renewal throughout the product life cycle Monitoring the global regulation trend /changes, conduct impact/risk assessment and provide regulatory recommendation to business What you will bring to this role: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, law, or a related field More than 3-5 years of experience in similar roles within FMCG A strong understanding of global cosmetic regulations is desirable, sound knowledge in OTC sunscreen product is a plus Strong data analytical skill and ability to interpret clinical and consumer testing data Strong communication (verbally and written) and interpersonal skills along with strong organizational skills Key strengths include multi-tasking, partner management and fast learning which are success enablers in this role A love of natural products is a plus The benefits of working with BWX: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans with 100% employer paid monthly premiums Competitive 401(k) match Excellent time off benefits, including paid Vacation, Sick, and Volunteer days Employer paid Life Insurance and Long Term Disability coverage Generous employee discounts across our brands Work for a values-led organization BWX Limited is an equal opportunity employer.
