Reporting to the Controller, the accounting manager will be responsible for the regular maintenance and integrity of financials and the general ledger . This is an exciting opportunity to join a tenured accounting team working within the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full time opportunity offering benefits, stability and a hybrid work schedule.
Main responsibilities include:
Process, review and analyze daily, weekly and monthly general ledger activity.
Review monthly P&L for accuracy, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and process journal entries for reclassifications where necessary.
Prepare monthly journal entries, accrual journal entries, annual closing entries
Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank accounts.
Assure timely and accurate month end close of the General Ledger. Balance Cash, AR, AP, etc.
Willingly performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting or related field.
5+ years work experience within General Ledger accounting
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
