  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
    
  • Experience in scoping for product, portfolio and ecosystem approach definition.
  • Experience leading 0-to-1 (scoping to launching) cross-functional initiatives with senior leaders.Preferred qualifications:
    • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
      
    • Experience with management and coaching, including both stakeholder and team management.
    • Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools.
      
    • Experience in product strategy and running large-scale initiatives.
    • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams.

We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.The Core Experience mission is to help Google teams build unified, desirable, and cohesive products by understanding user needs and creating solutions for simple, valuable experiences across Google products. We manage a broad portfolio, including Google Identity and Engagement, Trust, Google Design Platform, Products For All, Google User Analytics, and Central Experience.
      
      As a Product Strategy Manager, you will work with cross-functional leadership to scope strategic initiatives, develop hypotheses and recommendations, create product strategies and roadmaps, develop strategic narratives, and support various Google-level initiatives. The role sits on the Central Experience Strategy team and focuses on driving alignment and success for Core Experience.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.       • Influence team members and executive management to act and drive projects to completion.
        
      • Scope strategic areas and then translate direction into initiatives and impact.
      • Use subject matter expertise to quickly develop hypotheses and recommendations for new initiatives/inbound requests.
      • Work closely with Product Management, UX, Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to develop product strategies and roadmaps, including prioritizing, assessing user needs, and managing cross-functional groups to execute.
