Job Description:
Are you a Therapist that enjoys stabilizing and reintegrating
youth back into the community? Then join Seneca's passionate STEP
team and be the difference in adolescents lives. As the Therapist
you will provide direct services that include facilitating daily
groups, providing individual support and family therapy sessions,
psychosocial assessments, case management, and coordinating with
Kaiser clinics. Our Therapist will have the opportunity to conduct
intake assessments for each youth to determine needs and
collaborate with the team to develop and implement treatment plans
with no on-call, evening, or weekend requirements. ABOUT STEP The
STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration, and Progress) program is a
partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Seneca, providing Partial
Hospitalization services to youth ages 12-17. The goal of the STEP
program is to provide intensive, short-term and stabilization
services to enable our clients to step down to lower levels of
outpatient mental health treatment. All groups are designed to
teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their
mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills
to feel better and be safe. ABOUT SENECA Seneca Family of Agencies

this position! Responsibilities Facilitate a daily narrative
therapy process group and support with other groups utilizing CBT,
DBT, Motivational interviewing and Mindfulness interventions
Conduct 2 family therapy sessions for each youth enrolled
Participate in the daily clinical treatment planning with the
inter-disciplinary team Develop and maintain relationships with
community members and providers Participate in individual and/or
group supervision Chart mental health notes, treatment plans,
discharges, DSM diagnoses, incident reports, timecards and other
documentation in a timely manner Provide leadership in case
planning and while consulting with team members Assist with client
transportation as needed Qualifications Required: Master's degree
in psychology, counseling, or social work California BBS license
Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and auto insurance
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other
state/federal licensing or certification requirements Must show
proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster Preferred: Experience
working with youth in the mental health field Ability to work as
part of a multi-disciplinary team Excellent time management,
organizational, and writing skills Schedule Full-time Mon - Fri;
8AM - 4PM Benefits Starting at $67,000 - $81,000 annually. Actual
salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum
qualification $4000 salary increase upon licensure An additional
$6000 per year upon passing a bilingual language proficiency exam
