Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CT Tech professional to join our imaging department. This role involves performing a variety of CT and X-Ray procedures in a moderately busy environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in community hospitals and be proficient in various imaging techniques. Key Details - Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) - Years of Experience: 2 years required - Community Hospital Experience: Required - Float Required: Yes - Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics - Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care - Total Staffed Beds: 80 - Charting: Epic - Parking Cost: Free Parking Core Responsibilities - Conduct CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, and chest with and without contrast. - Perform specialized procedures including biopsies, myelography, and Vascular CTA. - Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed. - Utilize PACS for image display and post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction. - Support the imaging team with both outpatient and emergency department traffic. - Participate in OR cases such as pacemaker placements and orthopedic procedures. Required Skills and Certifications - ARRT R Certification - BLS Certification - Fluoroscopy Permit - Experience with abdominal and pelvic imaging, as well as trauma cases. - Proficiency in portables and C-arm imaging procedures. Preferred Skills - Experience in advanced procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis. - Knowledge of Philips equipment. - Ability to float between similar units as needed. Work Environment The imaging department provides a full range of services, handling an average of 80 exams per day.
