Job Description Job Description Pay: $263,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year Job description: Location: New York, NY 10031 Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (35 hrs/week) | Day Shift Pay: $60–$65 per hour Setting: Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic Type: Union | In-Person | No nights or weekends About the Opportunity Join a respected community-based mental health and primary care center located in the heart of Harlem. The clinic serves adults from diverse backgrounds, offering integrated behavioral health and medical services in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Register and process patients entering the clinic for care Record and monitor vital signs, perform triage, and collect laboratory specimens as ordered Schedule annual physicals, semi-annual visits, and lab recalls Coordinate specialist referrals, follow-up appointments, and ensure continuity of care Manage provider schedules for psychiatrists and nurse practitioners Conduct medication administration, monitor responses, and follow treatment plans Educate patients and families on medications, health maintenance, and preventive care Retrieve and maintain medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards Assist in emergency psychiatric situations and support crisis stabilization Document all patient interactions, medications, and interventions accurately in the EMR Collaborate with physicians, NPs, and social service staff to ensure quality outcomes Qualifications Current New York State RN license in good standing Spanish Speaking Preferred Behavioral Health Background preferred Graduate of an accredited nursing program At least 1 year of clinical experience , preferably in mental health, community health, or outpatient care CPR certification required Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care Compensation & Benefits $60–$65 per hour (based on experience) Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and holidays Union position with stable hours and supportive leadership Ongoing professional development and CEU opportunities Why Work Here This Harlem-based outpatient clinic provides a supportive team environment where nurses make a direct impact on community wellness every day.
