Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/07/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Interventional Radiology RN The Interventional Radiology (IR) RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing imaging services and IR procedures, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities - Provide IV access and support - Prepare patients for procedures - Administer and monitor moderate (conscious) sedation - Perform intra-procedure monitoring - Provide post-procedure recovery care - Deliver patient education and discharge instructions - Float to other UCSF facilities as needed - Ability to wear a lead apron and enter MRI environments as required Required Qualifications - Active California RN License - AHA BLS Certification - AHA ACLS Certification - Minimum 3 years of RN experience in Interventional Radiology - Prior experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural areas - Moderate Sedation competency in IR and Neuro IR - Strong IV skills - Interventional Radiology experience required - Conscious Sedation experience required - Ability to float to other UCSF facilities Preferred Qualifications - Experience circulating procedures - Ventilator experience - Charge nurse experience - Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification - PALS Certification Assignment Details - Location: Parnassus - Start Date: 3/30 - Shift: 4x10-Hour Days - Hours: 08:00 – 18:30 - Accepts first-time travelers COVID Requirement: COVID vaccination and booster are required — no exceptions.
