Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 30 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift Notes: Part-Time rotating schedule 2 techs for 7 day coverage 12 weeks AWS - OT after 40 hours in a week, DT after 12 hours in a day Working between 2 locations - will not float mid-shift: Vacaville, CA & Fairfield, CA Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Week 1: 8:30am-5pm 8:30am-7pm Off Off Off 8:30am-7pm Off Week 2: Off Off 8:30am-7pm 8:30am-7pm 8:30am-7pm Off 8:30am-5pm Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Week 1: Off Off 8:30am-7pm 8:30am-7pm 8:30am-7pm Off 8:30am-5pm Week 2: 8:30am-5pm 8:30am-7pm Off Off Off 8:30am-7pm Off Weekend Requirements: - On Call Requirements: - Job Description: Works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostics Imaging Manager. Performs general radiographic studies to established QA criteria. Produces radiographs and organizes images, completes required paperwork and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Performs radiographic examinations in accordance to established protocols. Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations. Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use. Reports to supervisor equipment failures and/or malfunctions. Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to QA policies. Responsible for producing images, burning CD and occasional film printing, organizing paperwork and completing requisition data. Seeks out during down time, work in other areas of department throughout the day, such as: front desk duties, rooming patients, or assisting with other duties as needed, etc. Other duties as assigned. 1. Education: Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course. 2. Licensure: California Certified Radiologic technologist (CRT) required, ARRT required. Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required. 3. Experience: New graduate eligible but prefer one year of experience in general radiology. 4. Skills: Basic clerical and computer experience. 5. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the facility.
