About UsThe world wide web is built for humans using browsers and apps. Soon, the web will be used primarily by AIs on our behalf. Computation over web data will increase by several orders of magnitude. Everything from the infrastructure to business models will need to evolve.Parallel aims to adapt the web for AIs. We are building retrieval, ranking, and reasoning systems for advanced AIs to program the web's information. Our initial product is an API for AIs to execute high-value tasks using web data.Position: Member of Technical StaffWe are a small, driven, and highly technical in-person team. We are building a culture where everyone can do their best work, tackling ambitious problems with practical solutions.As a member of our team, you will ship fast with high judgment for quality, experiment rigorously, and operate with autonomy.Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain retrieval, ranking, and reasoning systems for AIs.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement high-quality software.
• Experiment and iterate on solutions to complex problems.
• Contribute to a culture of quality and accountability.Qualifications
• Strong programming skills in relevant languages.
• Experience with AI or machine learning systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
