Job Description

The Keysight brand is at the same time a gold standard in the electronic design and measurement industry and a young, high-growth startup. Boasting a legacy of the original Hewlett Packard business, but with a 5-year new name and look, the company brand holds both high value and high opportunity.

Consider this exciting position to drive and evolve the Keysight brand. You will be responsible for a team of brand and creative professionals to help Keysight solidify its reputation as the partner of choice to the world’s leading technical visionaries and innovators.

You and your team will:

• Evolve Keysight’s brand narrative, positioning, and key pillars in alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.

• Elevate the brand look and feel across all media and touchpoints to convey Keysight’s leadership and bold, modern persona.

• Analyze brand performance, competitive brand presence, and best-in-class trends to create a 3-year roadmap for the brand’s evolution to greater innovation and differentiation.

• Develop insights on market trends, audiences, and emerging media opportunities to constantly push the envelope on brand impact and customer experience.

• Ideate and execute special brand programs and campaigns to increase impact, reputation, and awareness either with the internal team and/or with selected external agencies.

• Manage brand studies, analyze data, and assess competitive brand presence on an ongoing basis to ensure a relevant, innovative, and differentiated approach.

• Communicate brand progress and proposed shifts to marketing executives.

• Help portfolio leaders, field marketing leaders, and agencies understand how to deploy and optimize the brand for various tactics, channels (paid, earned, owned, and enabled), audiences, and regions

• Measure success through brand awareness, brand sentiment and association, brand engagement, loyalty, advocacy, and consistency.

• Manage a team of brand specialists and creatives, setting their objectives, providing relevant training, resources, and coaching, and driving them to continually improve their performance and results.

Job Qualifications

Successful candidates will be creative thinkers, strategic executors, and rigorous program managers with a strong eye for brand narrative and design. We are looking for a leader who thinks outside the box and continuously pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in brand strategy, communications, and deployment. Please apply if you have:

This key role requires:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent plus 5-10+ years of direct demonstrated experience in B2B brand strategy and marketing, preferably in a high-tech field, with strong expertise marketing campaign and content creation, advertising, and communications.

• Previous people management, planning, and project management experience.

• Exceptional visual and written storytelling skills.

• Advertising copywriting strongly desirable.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and working knowledge of creative software tools.

• Budget/resource management.

Ideal location for role is Santa Rosa, or Santa Clara, CA or Colorado Springs, CO

This role is part of the dynamic Keysight Global Marketing organization, tasked with creating awareness and generating demand for the Keysight brand and the company’s extensive portfolio of solutions, products, and services. Its departments include Brand and Global Communications, Portfolio Marketing, Region Marketing, and Marketing Operations.
