About the RoleIn this key role, you will have ownership of both the process and execution of Demand Planning. You will be instrumental in ensuring that we have the right products available as they are needed. You will collaborate with the procurement and the production teams in order to quickly respond to changes in customer demand or other constraints. Combined with historical data, you will collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and update the rolling forecast. Your decisions and analyses will be utilized to make production and procurement decisions. You have the ability to react quickly to changing information and assumptions. You have proven skills in Supply Chain Analytics/Demand Planning. You have excellent organizational skills, the ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills. Your key objective will be accurately projecting sales volumes in order to minimize both spoiled product and missed sales due to insufficient inventory.Responsibilities* Develop and maintain an executable forecast for all finished goods, both processed and copacked* Inform Sourcing and Production decisions with short to mid-term inventory projections.* Maintain a rolling 26-week sales forecast incorporating multi-channel seasonal & promotional activity to ensure balanced inventory* Partner with the Sales & Marketing teams on forecasting process and requirements, ensuring all deliverables are met* Analyze demand vs supply, determining the impact to business as related to inventories and critical supply constraints* Analyze historical sales data and identify seasonal, promotional, holiday, and other trends* Proactively identify, communicate, and propose solutions for prospective issues or hurdles within the supply chain* Collaborate with the Sourcing team on any vendor related constraints* Evaluate & maintain safety stock levels for all SKU's* Develop and refine metrics for forecast accuracy, work with IT for continuous review* Complete special projects and assignments as requested* Drive continuous improvement on Planning/Procurement process* Other tasks as assigned by department lead & senior managementWhat You Bring to the Team* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent 3-5 years' experience.* Working knowledge of planning/procurement process within an ERP environment a must* Experience in demand planning within CPG industry or other rapid moving products preferred.* Demonstrated ability to work and communicate cross-functionally with teams throughout the organization at all levels.* Ability to synthesize data and information from multiple sources into a consistent output.* Ability to understand, and implement statistical models and what-if scenario planning* Detail oriented and excellent initiative* Strong understanding of supply chain processes, preferably in food/beverage industry* Ability to articulate data needs and work with IT to develop efficient processes and reporting.* Must have working knowledge of Demand Planning Software, preferably Infor M3.* Excellent verbal and written communication and coordination skills* Experience managing large volumes of data* Advanced Microsoft Excel mandatory, VBA a plus* Strong problem solving skills* APICS certification will be prioritizedWe value Clover Sonoma's company culture and values and an ideal candidate would: Have an overwhelmingly positive attitude; Value and listen to other team members; Possess the aptitude for creative problem solving and critical thinking; and Have the courage to do the right thing even when difficult or unpopular.About Clover SonomaThird-generation family owned and operated, Clover Sonoma is recognized as a leader at the forefront of the dairy industry.
