Responsibilities (key tasks and requirements of the role)

  • Being the "thought leader" for all things searching within One Legal and indeed the broader legal, accounting, banking & finance and corporate industries.
  • Being the central point of Product Leadership within One Legal for leading edge new product development and innovation
  • Being the central point of contact from Product to Marketing
  • Management of product pricing
  • Investigation of new services, development of business cases to support investment, specifications for Development and profitability of new and existing services
  • Product related content including newsletter, videos, webinars and other relevant content
  • Managing Product Management team
  • Work closely with Sales, Development and Marketing to support our ongoing innovation and business growth
  • Management of external partnerships
  • Managing Contracts and Supplier Manager, along with the broader Product Management team. Competencies (essential behaviors -required for the role)

        • Minimum 5-8+ years' experience in the product development life cycle -in the Legal/Litigation markets.
        • Product development skills: ability to identify market needs ahead of the curve and create and bring product from concept to realization -(though working with different teams, such as development, marketing, sales, etc.)
        • Leadership and management skills and experience
        • Presentation and networking skills; ability and experience to deliver webinars, external training sessions, speak at conferences
        • Social media skills, ability to manage LinkedIn Groups, develop and drive concepts with and to the industry
        • Experience in managing suppliers and partners
