Overview:Are you a Therapist that enjoys stabilizing and
reintegrating youth back into the community? Then join Seneca's
passionate STEP team and be the difference in adolescents lives.As
the Therapist you will provide direct services that include
facilitating daily groups, providing individual support and family
therapy sessions, psychosocial assessments, case management, and
coordinating with Kaiser clinics. Our Therapist will have the
opportunity to conduct intake assessments for each youth to
determine needs and collaborate with the team to develop and
implement treatment plans with no on-call, evening, or weekend
requirements.ABOUT STEPThe STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration,
and Progress) program is a partnership between Kaiser Permanente
and Seneca, providing Partial Hospitalization services to youth
ages 12-17. The goal of the STEP program is to provide intensive,
short-term and stabilization services to enable our clients to step
down to lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. All
groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help
them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and
help them learn skills to feel better and be safe.ABOUT

position!Responsibilities:Facilitate a daily narrative therapy
process group and support with other groups utilizing CBT, DBT,
Motivational interviewing and Mindfulness interventionsConduct 2
family therapy sessions for each youth enrolledParticipate in the
daily clinical treatment planning with the inter-disciplinary
teamDevelop and maintain relationships with community members and
providersParticipate in individual and/or group supervisionChart
mental health notes, treatment plans, discharges, DSM diagnoses,
incident reports, timecards and other documentation in a timely
mannerProvide leadership in case planning and while consulting with
team membersAssist with client transportation as
neededQualifications:Required:Master's degree in psychology,
counseling, or social workCalifornia BBS licenseOwn vehicle, valid
California driver's license, and auto insuranceTB test clearance,
fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or
certification requirementsMust show proof of COVID-19 vaccination
and boosterPreferred:Experience working with youth in the mental
health fieldAbility to work as part of a multi-disciplinary
teamExcellent time management, organizational, and writing
skillsSchedule:Full-timeMon - Fri; 8AM - 4PMBenefits:Starting at
$67,000 - $81,000 annually. Actual salary dependent on creditable
experience above the minimum qualification$4000 salary increase
