POSITION SUMMARY

Mary's Pizza Shack prides itself on running a smooth and efficient business. The backroom person is essential in maintaining this ability, and providing the best customer service possible. --- Follow dishwashing procedures
--- Follow food prep guidelines outlined on Production Sheet
--- Follow all safety and health guidelines; wear plastic gloves when picking up bus tubs with dirty dishes and when picking up dirty pots and pans.
--- Follow all clean up and pre shift procedures related to your position

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position entails exposure to the following environmental conditions:

1.Able to stand for long periods of time.

2.Strength in arms to maneuver trash can into dumpster and carry bus tubs.

3.Ability to understand and follow instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

1.Constantly standing during operation.

2.Occasional lifting of trash cans, weighing approx. 60 - 80 lbs. Constant lifting of bus tubs weighing 20 - 40 lbs. Pizza dough trays weighing 15 lbs. each.

3.Constant carrying of bus trays weighing 20 - 40lbs.

4.Occasional reaching, approx. 38 - 74 in. vertically, in front of body to restock dishware and related kitchen items.

5.Constant power grasp of water spray nozzle using all fingers, which requires 3 - 5 pounds of force.
