As a supply chain analyst at Byte Technology, you will own
forecasting, procurement, and vendor relations in a fast-growing
startup environment. You will report to the Director of Operations
and work closely to build a supply chain strategy that can meet
current needs and scale fast.
In this role you will:
Continuously optimize inventory towards customer requirements and
inventory turns through advanced planning methods, proposals for
scrapping and other improvements within the operational supply
Serve as primary point of contact for vendors
Find ways to reduce cost, improve reliability, and increase speed
throughout supply chain
Identify multiple vendors for critical components.
Create and maintain Product Portfolio/Family level and aggregate
overall business demand plans for next rolling 12 months using
forecasting algorithm technique.
Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against
business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with
Develop, Manage, Audit, Improve and Correct supplier planning and
execution of component manufacturing and assembly techniques and
quality control processes from the advanced development phase to
mass production qualification
Conduct supply chain risk assessment, identification and
mitigation, from capacity, resources, materials, Lead time,
logistics and deliveries to avoid supply impact.
Establish MRP master data parameters to ensure accurate signals for
quantity and dates generated by MRP (i.e. lead times, MOQ's, lot
sizing, and safety stock).
Owner of RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all engineering and
commercial terms are agreed and documented.
Validate supplier corrective actions involving design and/or
process changes. Provide leadership for New Product Introduction
(NPI) at Suppliers
Use of strong knowledge of lean manufacturing for inhouse warehouse
Attention to detail and ability to track many parts, vendors, and
Familiarity with modern MRP/ERP systems
BA/BS in Engineering, Business Operations, or related field
Comfortable working within a fast-paced high growth startup
Nice to have
Experience scaling up in a startup environment
Experience with electronic component procurement
Familiarity with international procurement and logistics
Team oriented with excellent communication skills
