Job Description:

Yoh is seeking an entry level Production Tech to support our Genomics Client in the San Francisco Bay Area for a 3+ month contract to hire engagement (with bonus potential after conversion). You will have the opportunity to join our Client's Oligonucleotide Group, which requires the ability work in a High Throughput manufacturing environment. This role is an ideal fit for recent grads or individuals with 1-2 years of post-college experience. Bachelors of Science degree is a must, preferabl y in Chemistry, Biochemistry disciplines. Please note this is an onsite role. Pay Rate : Depending on experience Hours : must be flexible to working a mix of morning and afternoon shifts; possible weekend hours Industry: Genomics Location : San Francisco Bay Area Type : 3+ month contract, potential to convert full-time Responsibilities Manufacture quality custom oligonucleotide products efficiently. Perform all assigned job functions per documented procedures and as directed by supervisor, manager, or director. Operate various synthesis, deprotection and analytical instrumentation. Maintain and monitor lab equipment as well as a chemical reagent delivery system. Participate in shared daily lab maintenance tasks. Perform safe handling and disposal of all synthesis chemicals appropriately and according to EH policy. Manage time effectively - schedule and organize varying workload with changing priorities. Ability to communicate and coordinate with colleagues up and downstream in the manufacturing process. Other duties as directed by the departmental supervisor, manager, or director.
