To provide backup to other live production areas as needed. Must be a friendly self-starter with a pleasant and energetic phone presence. Requires Microsoft Office experience and at least one year of office and/or clerical experience. Individuals will be actively involved in all aspects of Live OperationsPrincipal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDescribe below the major responsibilities of this position which must be fulfilled with or without reasonable accommodations in order to achieve the essential purpose of this position.Ensures assigned weekly and monthly reports are completedMaintain and review bird movement schedulesManage incoming feed orders, re-direct to appropriate feed departmentsCoordinate data input to Excel and MTECH worksheets on a daily basisSchedule and maintain live production supplies and deliveriesCreate requisitions, issue purchase orders, and receive deliveries in MAXIMOMake outbound customer calls as neededMonitor service reports and Growout packetsSupport Growout and Hatchery reporting needsAbility to multi task, adapt to rapid changes and work well under limited supervisionMaintain a clean and safe work area at all timesParticipate in company and department safety programs and comply with company policies and proceduresMinimum EducationHigh School or equivalent.Completion of BA, BS or AA degree preferred but not required.Experience RequirementsMinimum 2 years relevant work experience. Detail oriented and organized. Work independently and with others. Proficient computer skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.4.
