Job Description:
We're looking for an Inbound Sales Development Rep (SDR) who
will be responsible for all marketing generated pipeline at Simply
Solar. Your focus is triaging inbound leads, ensuring they are
qualified, and following up in a timely manner to convert these
leads into qualified opportunities for our sales team. This person
will help to build the inbound playbook - partnering closely with
our marketing team to help achieve our marketing pipeline goals.

- Base hourly wage plus commission - $20 - $22/hour depending on
experienceCommission examples:
- $20/appointment scheduled
- $15/proposal created
- $25/assisted sale

doOur Sales Development Representatives are the first point of
contact for potential Simply Solar Clients. Our Sales Development
Representatives have a number of tools at their disposal. A world
class CRM, texting and phone call capabilities, automated
scheduling with ChiliPiper are just a few of those tools! Your job
is to build rapport, learn about customer needs, and prepare an
individual for a qualified and productive Sales Consultation. -Key
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with potential Simply Solar clients,
addressing their interests, needs and concerns
- Educate potential clients about solar energy in an interesting
and engaging way
- Schedule solar and roofing appointments for our outside sales
consultants
- Represent Simply Solar in a positive and professional
manner
- Follow up with potential clients via text, phone, social
channels, and email
- Track contact and follow-up with potential clients in our
CRMAbout YouYou're a people person with strong customer service and
sales skills. You're comfortable on the phone and have a strong
phone presence - warm, polished, and professional. You have
experience with or can quickly learn the tools we use, like
Salesforce, GSuite, and Chilipiper. You're already passionate about
or interested in learning more about solar energy.Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and enthusiastic phone presence
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
