Must-Have: Vaccination against COVID-19 or proper documentation for
exemption Description: Will have to drive to pick up and return the
van every shift. Serves over 7,500 care facilities nationwide.

supportive team culture. Performs waived laboratory tests in a
mobile setting under supervision. Responsible for monitoring the
quality of reagents and instrument operation. Receives specimens
from phlebotomists and couriers. May operate a delivery van to
bring the mobile lab to high volume testing areas when applicable.
Enters patient demographics and test orders into the lab
information system. Checks the quality control of each test before
running and reporting patient results. Ensures quality control is
within appropriate limits and addresses problems in real-time.
Conducts lab testing in areas such as Chemistry, Hematology,
Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation. Enters test results into
the system accurately. Confirms abnormal results before releasing
them. Brings rare and improbable test results to a supervisor's
attention. Performs blood collection, including venipuncture and
capillary specimens. Processes specimens and logs requisitions as
needed. Monitors the STAT board to ensure turnaround time goals are
consistently met. Assists in maintaining an adequate inventory of
supplies. Ensures compliance with documentation of quality control
and specimen records. Troubleshoots client, instrument, or computer
issues as needed. Performs maintenance on automated instrumentation
as required. Records quality control and maintains records on all
assays conducted. Responsible for clerical functions associated
with specimen integrity, testing, identification, and reporting.
Follows all safety protocols outlined in the safety manual.
Expected physical demands include standing, handling materials, and
lifting up to 15 pounds on occasion. Work environment may involve
hazards associated with blood-borne pathogens and biological
materials. Training provided regarding health and safety policies
is mandatory. Specific vision abilities required include close
vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Additional
