Nationwide Multi-Family Owner Builder, seeks a ground up, Senior
Superintendent for immediate opening in Petaluma. The company is
family-owned with over 50 years of operational experience in
California. We have a small local office with a positive stable

The successful candidate needs to have Multi-Family experience, be
able to work and communicate effectively with the Project Manager,
subcontractors, vendors and inspectors. You will be in charge of
the entire project! Including scheduling, directing subcontractors,
ability to manage an Assistant Superintendent, foreman, quality
control, safety, manpower and materials. You must be proficient in
basic computer skills, Microsoft Office and Outlook (email).
Current driver's license and clean background.Classification:
Reports to: Project Manager and/or Division Manager
Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager this position
will work closely with all members of the project team and will
assist with the supervision of all craft employees.Essential

1. Possess a clear understanding and be responsible for
constructions plans, RFI's, as built documentation and submittal
2. Responsible for creation of CPM construction schedules,
performing regular schedule.
3. Monitors logic relationships and add new work items into the
schedule and reflect resulting schedule impacts.
4. Assist with the coordination of jobsite logistics and maintain
relationships with adjacent building teams and subcontractors.
5. Lead the company injury free environment safety program by
setting a good example and fostering safe work behavior.
6. Assist with the coordination of subcontractor work scopes,
scheduling and resource-loading.
7. Professionally represent the company filed operations as a
regular interface with the joint subcontractors.

Provide technical expertise throughout the Pre-Construction
Participate in the plan development stage of project.
Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by
all project personnel and trade contractors, working with the
safety support personnel as a resource.
Lead weekly on site safety meetings.
Review and understand the trade safety program and MSDS information
in the trade contractor start up meeting.
Be familiar with OSHA safety requirements, laws and regulations
that pertain to the project.
Review the plans and specifications for constructability and
construction schedules and advise the team of issues or
Understand trade contractor and supplier contractor scopes.
Prepare, manage and update the detailed project schedule with
sequence activity duration utilizing Microsoft Project.
Mentor and train other employees as necessary.

You will review the work of subcontractors and other employees of
the company as designated and are responsible for the performance
of those you supervise.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required
to frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to ongoing
construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the
work environment may range from moderate to loud. This position is
performed in outside weather conditions.
This position is often active by standing, walking, climbing,
stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling and bending. This position
requires the ability to drive a motor vehicle. Occasionally lift up
to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee
is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee on occasion
may lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some
out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Preferred Education and Experience
